Party Games Slotto Slot Review

I’d love to say that it’s party time, but sadly Party Games Slotto is nothing to sing and dance about. It is yet another classic slot with fruit symbols which has been developed by Novomatic, but there is no surprise there due to how popular they are at online casinos for UK players and in pubs up and down the country.

Party Games Slotto reminded me of other classic Novomatic slots like Sizzling Hot Deluxe and Xtra Hot. Despite not offering a gamble feature which is usually a common fixture in their slots, it does have a highly rewarding bonus feature called ‘Pick a Prize’ which guarantees you a win and gets you in party spirit but other than that it’s pretty dull as you are about to discover.

What’s the Structure?

Party Games Slotto consists of 5 reels with up to 20 adjustable paylines. The betting options can also be adjusted to suit your bankroll needs with bet per line options from as little as £0.02 and going as high as £5 – which makes for a minimum spin of £0.40 and maximum spin of £100 should you play all paylines for the biggest chance of winning.

While the majority of Novomatic slots have a return to player percentage (see our slots terminology page if you don’t know what this is) of 95% or higher, Party Games Slotto falls short of this at 94.06%. This means you may go more spins without winning than you are used to, however when the wins do come, they come big!

Classic Symbols but Small Wins

The Wild is simply an eclipse with the word ‘WILD’ boldly stated and this symbol substitutes for all others however it doesn’t appear on reel 2. The Scatter is a Sheriff who is required for the games only bonus feature, with the rest of the line-up being familiar from other classic slots – a 7, BAR, Watermelon, Plum, Cherries, plus King to 10 playing card symbols.

To get anything out of this slot you’re going to have to land the highest valued symbols, but first you’ll need to know what they are – we’ll use five on a payline to highlight the significant difference between them all.

The 7 and BAR symbols both pay the same at 12.5x, however the biggest prize of all comes when you cover every position with a 7 – a feat which will reward you with 250x your stake. The King and Queen symbols each pay 5x for five on a payline, the Jack and 10 symbols pay 2.5x, while the lowest valued are the Watermelon, Plum, and Cherries which only pay 1x – it’s not often the playing card symbols aren’t the lowest valued on the reels!

Pick a Prize

The ‘Pick a Prize’ bonus feature is the only one included in Party Games Slotto but thankfully it is one which guarantees you a win and impossible to lose on. It is a simple pick ‘em game which begins once you land three or more of the Sheriff symbols anywhere on the reels.

You are presented with three characters – a bride, groom, and nurse (yeah, weird combination indeed) and you simply have to select one of them. When you do so your prize will be revealed, with the larger your stake resulting in larger prizes!

No Party Here…

Sorry but I simply cannot recommend Party Games Slotto. Even by classic slot standards the symbols are incredibly basic and actually don’t add anything to the theme – I was expecting champagne, strobe lights, and other items you’d associate with a party but instead it’s traditional symbols and a Sheriff thrown in. Even the payouts aren’t as high as in other classic slots, though despite not offering a gamble feature the bonus feature absolutely makes up for this.

It’s just a basic pick ‘em game but fortunately it triggers quite regularly and you are guaranteed one of three prizes. Along with this there are popping sounds when you land a winning combination but that is about as exciting as it gets – which certainly highlights just how boring this slot is, one to be avoided!
