You might not have heard of its trading name, Xterra Games, but Leander needs no introduction to any slots player who's played one of the developer's games in the past couple of years.
Leander has bagged numerous awards since it launched in 2008, while the Bahamas-based firm's proprietary platform is used by some of the best online casinos on the Internet.
And when it comes to slots, let's just say that the company doesn't hold back when it comes to off-the-wall concepts.
Formed by a trio of former business leaders and games designers, Leander has gone from strength to strength in the few years it's been around.
It's bagged plenty of nominations over time - not least reaching the shortlist on the 'RNG Casino Supplier' and 'Platform of the Year' awards in 2015. They also bagged a top 'Social Gaming Supplier of the Year' EGR award in 2013 - shortly before shutting down one of its biggest Facebook slots apps.
Leander now has offices in Miami, Buenos Aires, the Bahamas, and the UK, while their games are licensed in Alderney and in Britain by the UK Gambling Commission.
Through Leander's Remote Gaming Server, LeGa, they are able to provide casino sites with an in-house platform full of top Leander games and slots.
In 2015, Leander signed on the dotted line with leading casino operator, Betsson, to provide their portfolio of games to the Scandinavian casino group.
The move came after Leander agreed to provide major sites like Betfair, PaddyPower Casino and Vera & John with content a year earlier. And newer casino sites like Full Tilt and PokerStars - online poker giants who have moved into casino games in recent years - have also brought on-board Leander content.
Leander also has several distribution partners in their locker, including iSoftBet, Amaya, OpenBet, and CEO Steven Matsell's former company, GTS Plc.
Leander's 'Game Studio' is responsible for the developer's output online. And it's fair to say the Game Studio team have some pretty awesome brainstorming sessions.
In looks, the newer Leander slots are like the best of the BetSoft/Sheriff portfolios: all cute graphics, slick animation, and innovative bonus features.
Pablo Picasslot features a 3x5 set of reels where giant Wilds in the form of classic paintings fill the screen to add bonus wins. Similarly, the new Octopus Kingdom relies heavily on a 'Pick Me'-style bonus feature where players have to select from a choice of ladies to 'introduce' them to the king. 'Extended Walking Wilds' and 'Magic Waves' can also be triggered for bigger bonus wins.
Khepri (also released in 2015) is a take on the classic Egyptian theme with 243-ways-to-win betting, respins and random Wilds, and bonus multipliers.
It's not all cute characters and luscious animation; Leander also has several branded titles in its armoury, including a solid 'Dolly' slot celebrating the career of Dolly Parton, and Megadeth, based on the American heavy metal band. The latter game's highlights include Sticky and Expanding Wilds, and a 'Multilevel Bonus' wheel with free spins and 'head crusher' multipliers included.
As well as online slots, Leander has also developed the 'LeGa' Remote Gaming Server (RGS) which provides casinos with a platform to offer in-house and third-party games. The system allows for loyalty programmes and 'Achievements', and supports 26 languages.
Leander's award-winning social games platform, designed in conjunction with Bejig, has been responsible for apps like AvaTingo and Five Star Slots. AvaTingo closed its virtual doors recently, but not before it acquired around 700,000 customers for its slots and games.
